Shoes Like Pottery

Founded in 1873 at Kurume, Fukuoka, Japan (the 6th year of the Meiji period). Produced in a “Kiln”, the same process as pottery. The shoe produced by this process has specialties such that the sole is soft and flexible, and increased durability. Above all the most attractive part of “shoes like pottery” is a highly crafted and beautiful texture which only skilled workers can create by hand. Made in Japan
